As a neuroscientist working at the intersection of brain biophysics and
neuropsychiatry, she develops biomarkers and connectivity indicators associated
with cortical functions, including perception, cognition, emotional response,
and emotion regulation, derived from neuroimaging data. Her expertise
focuses on analyzing EEG series to investigate emotion recognition, correlating
psychological and psychiatric metrics with changes in cortical function, and
predicting sleep disorders. She designs experimental paradigms, develops
stochastic signal processing techniques, and applies graph-theoretical network analyses
to study the human brain.
She serves as an article editor for Frontiers in
Psychiatry: Computational Psychiatry, Frontiers in Neuroscience, Frontiers in Psychology: Cognitive Science and
acts as a peer reviewer for international scientific journals in experimental
psychology, neuropsychiatry, and neuroscience.
