Selda Coşkuner Aktaş, PhD, has been an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Family and Consumer Sciences, Hacettepe University since 2004. Dr. Coşkuner Aktaş holds a BSc (2004), MSc (2007), and PhD (2013) in Family and Consumer Sciences from Hacettepe University. Demonstrating a commitment to interdisciplinary scholarship, she also earned a BSc in Business Management (2005) and Sociology (2020) from Anadolu University. From 2011 to 2012, Dr. Coşkuner Aktaş was a Visiting Scholar at North Carolina State University (NCSU), followed by a research appointment at the same institution from July to September 2015. She is a member of the American Sociological Association (ASA). Her research interests encompass role theory, multiple roles, the family-work interface, social stratification, and gender roles.
