With over a decade of experience in academia, strategic research, and international consultancy, I am a Ph.D. in International Relations, specialize in US foreign policy, security studies, artificial intelligence, defense technology, and intelligence leadership within the context of great power competition. Currently a Senior Lecturer at the Department of International Relations and Vice Director of Center for Strategic Research (HUSAM) at Hacettepe University, I have designed and taught courses on U.S. Foreign Policy, U.S. Politics, Security Studies, Political Violence and Terrorism, History of Political Thought I-II, Communication in IR and Computer Skills I-II, equipping students and professionals with critical analytical skills. Beyond academia, I am an entrepreneur and an emerging change management professional, working at the intersection of technology and national security. My research delves into the implications of AI on strategic decision-making, intelligence leadership, and defense industry transformations. I have presented at international conferences and published on security, foreign policy, and the evolving role of emerging technologies in global power dynamics. As a multilingual professional fluent in English and proficient in Mandarin and Arabic, I have cultivated a deep understanding of geopolitical trends, bridging academic expertise with practical policy insights. My leadership roles at the Council of Higher Education (CoHE) and the Center for Strategic Research (HÜSAM) have further honed my skills in policy advisory, multilateral diplomacy, and institutional strategy. I am a member of prestigious international organizations, including the International Studies Association (ISA), International Political Science Association (IPSA), IPSA RC35 Technology and Development, British International Science Association (BISA), International American Studies Association (IASA), International Relations Council of Turkey (IRCT, UIK) and the Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP) Global and Turkey Chapter. Recognized as a Ryoichi Sasakawa Young Leaders Fellow, I am committed to shaping the future of security and intelligence in the AI-driven era.
