Prof. ÖZDEN PEKTAŞ TURGUT

Biography

Graduated from Anadolu Univ. Faculty of Fine Arts, Graphic Design Dept. in 2002. She got a Master of Arts degree from Hacettepe University, Faculty of Fine Arts Graphic Design Dept. in 2004 with “Examination of Banner Ads by Graphic Design“ titled thesis. In 2009 she had a Proficiency in Arts degree from the same department with “Comparison of Printed and Electronic Graphic Design Magazines In View of Visual Identity and an Electronic Design Magazine Proposal“ titled thesis. Her academic career began as a Research Assistant at Hacettepe University in 2003. Between 2005 - 2016 worked as Lecturer, Assitant Prof., and Associate Prof. at Gazi University Faculty of Fine Arts VCD Dept. She gave lessons in Northern Cyprus Lefkosa Near East University, Belgium Hoogeschool Gent, Royal Academy of Arts and Portugal Porto, Escola Superior de Artes e Design. Nowadays she is working as a Professor at Hacettepe University, Faculty of Fine Arts Graphic Design Dept. and giving lectures in the field of publication design, multimedia design, web design, interactive media design, typography, calligraphy, and exlibris. She participated in more than 80 mixed exhibitions and 7 solo exhibitions in domestic&abroad, presented papers in national&international symposiums-conferences, give seminars in different universities (Belgium, Azerbaijan, Finland, India, Lithuania, U.S.A., Portugal), and her articles published in journals.
