Biography
Dr. Onur Külçe received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Bilkent University in 2010, 2012, and 2018, respectively. Between 2019 and 2021, he conducted postdoctoral research at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he was a Fulbright scholar. Having worked as an optical design engineer at Aselsan between 2021 and 2026, Dr. Külçe has been serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Hacettepe University since 2026. His research interests include optical computing, optical artificial intelligence, signal processing for electromagnetic fields, image processing, and camera design. Born in Isparta in 1987, Dr. Onur Külçe is married and has one child.
