Özet

© 2019 Taylor & Francis Group, London.Three new stations designed for the Dnipro subway extension line, Ukraine; Theatre, Central and the Museum Stations. The main intention was to create unique interior designs for each station. By conducting a detailed study of the local historical narratives and cultural themes of the city, interior design concepts developed so that a station building could be more than a portal for transportation needs. This paper will present the design approach and considerations for the stations and their inspirational stories. Moreover, readers can access the designs including panoramic views by using their smartphones as a new architectural presentation platform.
