Özet

At this research, it was investigated that the prediction degrees of some affective characteristics for Math scores of Turkish students who were participated TIMSS-R and TIMSS-2007 examinations. Self-efficacy, attitude and value scales scores which are in TIMSS questionnaires were regarded as independent variables, students math scores were regarded as a dependent variable. Enter metot of Multiple Regression Analysis was used analyse of data. At the end of analysis it was appeared that the distributions of students' math scores, self-efficacy beliefs, attitudes towards math and values towards math are similar for TIMSS-1999 and TIMSS-2007 exams. For TIMSS-1999 math scores It was founded that the prediction degree of students' self-efficacy scores was significant, but scores of students' attitudes towards math and scores of value towards math wasn't significant. For TIMSS-2007 math scores it was detected that the prediction degrees of students' self-afficacy scores, attitudes scores and value scores were significant.
