Özet

It is known that elements related to the nature are used as elements of comparison in the tradition of Alevi-Bektashi poetry The most common natural motifs in Turkish poetry are water (sea, river, brook, fountainhead, and the like), earth, trees, plants and flowers, sun, moon, stars and various kinds of breeze. One of these significant natural elements is the morning breeze, bad-I saba or seher yeli. The morning breeze is considered superior to all other kinds of breezes in Turkish poetry The morning breeze motif signifies more or less the same message in all forms of Turkish poetry.
