Özet

Minimizing energy consumption while maintaining high reliability is a complex trade-off in heterogeneous real-time systems. This work proposes an energy-efficient scheduling approach for periodic tasks on non-preemptive heterogeneous multiprocessors, utilizing active replication to satisfy reliability constraints. We initially present an optimization model to define the problem space and provide optimal benchmarks; however, due to its high computational complexity, we propose an efficient heuristic framework for practical application. This heuristic strategically assigns task replicas to minimize energy without violating timing or reliability requirements. Extensive experiments demonstrate that the proposed framework achieves substantial energy savings compared to existing methods while meeting system constraints.
