Özet

Mitochondrial transplantation/transfer is a recently popular technique for modulating mitochondrial function. Mitochondrial transfer between cells has been studied in vitro and in vivo. For in vitro mitochondria transfer/transplantation, several methods are utilized and researchers develop new methods every day. The current in vitro mitochondrial transfer/transplantation methods including coincubation, microinjection, penetrating peptide (Pep-1), mitoception, photothermal nanoblade, magnetomitotransfer, MitoPunch, fluidFM, and EV mediated mitochondria transplantation/transfer will be covered in this chapter. Furthermore, we will provide the coincubation method protocol.
