Özet

Non-ionic surfactant vesicles (niosomes) constitute an alternative to liposomes as drug carriers. Materials and procedures for their preparation and the results of in vivo studies with model drugs are reviewed. In many instances the inclusion of drugs in niosomes has lead to significant advantageous changes of their pharmacokinetics and metabolic patterns.
