Malignant melanoma is a skin cancer usually cured by simple excision of the primary lesion, but nevertheless it is fatal in about one fifth of cases. Gray-brown skin discoloration (melanosis syndrome) resulting from wide-spread melanoma can be seen, which causes high blood and urinary melanogens. Affected patients often have urine that is dark or darkens on exposure to air. Here we present a malignant melanoma case with melanosis syndrome.
