Embedded systems are vital components in medical imaging technologies, providing computational power and control for various functions such as real-time image processing, data acquisition, and device management. Challenges like power optimization and real-time processing are mitigated through algorithmic improvements and hardware enhancements. The future of embedded systems in medical imaging includes advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) integration, miniaturization, and improved interoperability, promising further advancements in diagnostic capabilities and patient care.
