To do military service is regarded as an important factorin an individual's being accepted within the society where we live. The individual considers accomplishing military service as a basic requisite for being accepted within the society; however, undertaking responsability by being included within the categogy of adulthood is seen as a product of this process. Besides its social aspect, militagy service has an important fitnction in the process of political socialization. The compulsarily gathering of individuals that belong to certain age grozip in the way that comprises certain period simplifies the transfer of the values of the political system to some goal individuals. In this sense, Member of Turkish Armed Forces take on a transforming role in the society through the political culture which they take not only from military schools but also state schools and they apply this to young individuals trained during the process of doing military service.
