Abstract

The Yuvakoy neigbourhood is an area where Ankara-cankiri ophiolite crops out. Yuvakoy ophiolite consists of ascending formations of tectonic complex, volcanic-sedimentary sequence, tectonites and cumulates. These units are covered by Cretaceous and Tertiary sedimentary units. Miocene volcanics are represented by Tekke volcanics.
