Abstract

Bank Street Approach, which is one of the early childhood educational programmes, has been developed by Lucy Spraque Mitchell who has focused on experimental nature of education, and has aimed at educating children by constantly working with them and implementing new opinions instead of a planned curriculum, According to this approach holds the view that education of children and adults continue at every age. The basic targets of Bank Street Education comprise the entire developmental process of the child within the triangle of family, school, and child, and also improvement of creativity.
