Abstract

Aims In this study, we sought to evaluate the safety and efficacy of cryoballoon (CB) based empirical left atrial appendage (LAA) isolation as an adjunct to pulmonary vein isolation (PVI) compared to the PVI-only strategy in patients with persistent AF.
