Özet

In the title compound, C11H12ClNO2, there is an intramolecular hydrogen bond between the amino group and the carbonyl O atom [N ... O 2.686(3)Angstrom]. Additional intermolecular hydrogen bonds between the phenol O atom and the carbonyl groups of neighbouring molecules [O ... O 2.634(2)Angstrom] form a polymeric chain. The molecule is not planar. The dihedral angle between the aromatic ring and the bidentate Schiff base moiety is 44.51(7)degrees. The characteristic Schiff base N-C bond length is 1.339(3)Angstrom.
