Özet

Yıldız ilmini iki bölüme ayıran eski zamanların astronomi âlimleri bu ilmin, yıldızların bir insanın doğumu sırasında bulunduğu yere bakarak kehanette bulunmayla ilgili olanına “mevâlid”, hangi zamanda hangi işin yapılması gerektiğine dair bilgilerle ilgili olanına ise “ihtiyârât” adını vermişlerdir. Literatür incelendiği zaman “ihtiyârât” konulu birçok metnin yazıldığı görülmektedir. Bunlardan birinin yazarı Meraga Rasathanesi’nin kurucusu Nasîrüddîn-i Tûsî’dir. Türkiye’deki kütüphanelerde de İhtiyârât’ının farklı adlarla istinsah edilmiş yazma nüshalarına rastlamak mümkündür. Tûsî’nin bu manzum metninde Ay’ın on iki burcu seyri esnasında bulunduğu burca göre insanların yapması ve yapmaması gereken şeyler sıralanmaktadır. Bu makalede Tûsî’nin manzumesinin tespit edilen üç Türkçe tercümesi tanıtılacaktır. Bu tercümelerden biri manzum olup her bölümde önce Tûsî’nin Farsça metnine, sonra da her bölümün ardından onun Türkçe tercümesine yer verilmesi şeklinde tertip edilen Millet Kütüphanesi Ali Emîrî Farsça 641/2 numarada kayıtlı metindir. Diğer iki tercüme ise mensurdur. Bunlar Çorum Hasan Paşa Kütüphanesi 539/1 numarada ve Köprülü Kütüphanesi, Mehmed Asım Bey Bölümü 727/5 numarada bulunmaktadır. Çalışmada sırasıyla önce konuyla ilgili bilgi verilmiş, sonra üç tercümenin muhtevası mukayese edilmiş, manzum tercümenin Ahmed-i Dâ’î’ye aidiyeti meselesi tartışılmış ve son olarak da üç tercüme metnin yazıçevrimi yapılmıştır.
Astronomers have divided the science of the stars into two branches. The branch related to making predictions based on a person's location at the time of their birth is called mawālīd, while the branch that provides information about which actions should or should not be undertaken at specific times is called ikhtiyārāt. When examining the literature, it is evident that many texts have been written on the subject of ikhtiyārāt. One of the authors of such works is Nasîr al-Dîn al- Tûsî, the founder of the Maragha Observatory, and manuscripts of his work can be found in various libraries that house handwritten texts. In Tûsî’s work, the actions people should or should not take are listed according to the zodiac sign the moon is in as it transits through the twelve signs. This article introduces three known Turkish translations of Tûsî’s poetic work. One of these is a verse translation, arranged so that each section presents Tûsî’s original Persian text followed by its Turkish translation. This manuscript is found in the Millet Library, Ali Emiri Collection, Persian No. 641/2. The other two translations are in prose, located respectively in the Çorum Hasan Pasha Library, No. 539/1 and the Köprülü Library, Mehmed Asım Bey Section, No. 727/5. In this article, the texts of the translations have been critically established, the three versions compared, and the question of whether the verse translation can be attributed to Ahmed-i Dâ‘î is discussed.
