Özet

In the title compound, [Co(C7H4ClO2)(2)(C6H6N2O)(2)(H2O)(2)], the Co-II atom lies on a centre of inversion and is coordinated in a distorted octahedral geometry by two 4-chlorobenzoate anions, two nicotinamide molecules and two water molecules, all of which act as monodentate ligands. Intermolecular O-H center dot center dot center dot O and N-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonds link the molecules into two-dimensional sheets.
