Özet

While Crimea was seperated from Ottoman Empire in consequence of Russian pressure in 18.century, the native Christian population of Crimea were deported and settled in today's Ukraine. In this study, the data of the field research performed in Ukraine and Crimea in 2002, among not all of the Christian population deported from Crimea but only a special Christian group called Urumian who speak Turkish, have Turkish surnames and also have customs different from Greeks is tred to be examined.
