This work is about the socio-economic life of Tuzla and its vicinity at the end of 19 th century based on Ser'iyye records of Tuzla, Bijeljina and Srebrenica that locate in Republic of Bosnia-Herzegovina. According to these records, there was no conflict between Muslims and non-Muslims in this region. Moreover, even the rate of simple offences was very low. According to the marriage records, exogamy was common. In addition to these, the average human life was estimated 45 and 50 years. The reasons of divorce were unmatched characters and inability to get on with with each other. The families generally had two kids. Bosnians were given Bosniac name as well as Turkish names.
