Cultural remains, dated to the Early Bronze Age II-III, Middle Bronze Age, and Late Bronze Age, have been brought to light during the excavations between 2002 and 2005 that were carried out by the IRERP** team at Cesme-Baglararasi. Late Bronze Age material culture is only represented so far by a single refuse pit that has been was dug into Middle Bronze Age cultural strata. Mycenaean and local ceramics, which can be relatively dated to LH IIIA2/IIIB1, were uncovered together within this pit and thus indicating the relations of Western Anatolia with its neighbors during this period.
