Abstract

Nasoalveolar molding is an efficient treatment protocol for cleft lip and palate deformities. This case report represents the long-term follow up till the age 7,5; as well as the orthopedic and orthodontic treatment of a male patient having unilateral complete cleft lip and palate deformity. The patient was referred to our clinic at 20-days of age and nasoalveolar molding appliance was used for 8 months. Lip and palate repair was applied at the same session at 9 months. After the 7,5-year follow up period, maxillary and mandibular arches revealed a harmonious dental relationship. Transversal deficiency in the maxillary arch is expanded by quad-helix appliance. This case is being treated with fixed orthodontic appliances and being followed.
