Özet

Document Management Systems covering all the document and information flow in an enterprise are built to decrease the costs and increase the productivity in the document related operations such as creating, controlling, preserving, accessing and archiving operations throughout the life cycle of the document. In this paper, after describing the properties, functionality and the benefits of the Document Management and Workflow systems, the modern trends in Management Information Systems, Library Management Systems and in Document Management Systems Software are explained, and their impact on the e-transformation processes of the enterprises are discussed.
