Job burnout is common among professionals who intensely contact with people and it is defined by three dimensions of emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and sense of inefficacy. Previous studies indicate that pharmacists experience burnout because of their profession. Burnout can affect the individuals' personal health, decrease the quality of services provided and job performance. In this article, burnout was described firstly and then detailed information was given about situational and individual factors related to burnout, results of burnout and coping strategies.
