Abstract

A new flavouol glycoside, isorhamnetin 3-O-beta -D-apiofuranosyl-(1-->2)-[alpha -L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->6)]-beta -D-galactopyranoside, a nd the known diglycoside, isorhamnetin 3-O-alpha -L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->6)-beta -D-galactopylanoside were isolated from the aerial parts of Astragalus vulneraria. Characterization of the two compounds was done by spectroscopic methods (1D and 2D NMR, and FAB-MS).
