© 2022. Milli Egitim. All Rights Reserved. In this study, it is aimed to conduct a descriptive research to reveal the problems experienced by primary school parents in the conduct of distance education with live lessons, which started with the closure of schools during the Covid-19 epidemic. In this direction, an online questionnaire was applied to 313 primary school parents in the 2019-2020 academic year. As a result of the research, it was concluded that the hardware features and internet connection of the information technology tools in which the children of the parents attend the live lesson are good, however, the infrastructure of the EBA live lesson application is insufficient because they have problems connecting to the EBA during the live lesson.Parents contribute to the teaching processes of their children during live lesson by preparing the teaching environment, increasing student motivation, making and controlling homework, and giving feedback to the teacher about the homework. It was concluded that the parents had technical problems during live lessons, and as technical problems, they experienced connection problems/ lack of infrastructure problems the most. 29.1% of the parents expressed that they had administrative problems, and as administrative problems, they stated the low numbers of lessons and lesson hours, the unpreparedness and unwillingness of the teacher who gives live lessons, and the lack of communication during a live lesson the most. It was determined that 30.7% of the parents liked the social interaction aspect of live lessons the most while 35.8% of them did not like the planning and implementation problems. In the light of this information, it is recommended that the free internet provided to parents for EBA live lessons be expanded to include other distance education platforms, and that the live lesson process should be carried out carefully not only by the school but also by the parents.
