Although radiology utilizes highly sophisticated equipment, its basic tool remains radiology reports. Of the many problems related to the use of radiology language in Turkish, several are more prominent. Among these more prominent problems are the selective use of non-Turkish words in the presence of their Turkish counterparts, mistakes in the use of non-Turkish words, and improper use of the Turkish grammar and linguistics. The content and visual design of radiology reports in Turkey also need considerable improvement. In this article, problems in these areas are outlined and some advices regarding solutions are made.
