Abstract

Radome protects the antenna from environmental conditions. However, the radome must not affect the electromagnetic wave propagation while the antenna is protected from their environmental factors. Monolithic and A-Sandwich are commonly used radome structures. In this paper, our studies on these structures using Genetic Algorithm are presented. In the simulations, the real radome materials are used and optimization is carried out at a frequency range of 2-27 GHz.
