Abstract

In this study, the concept of museum library is studied in general terms and quality of odemis Yildiz City Museum and Archive and of the five main elements which form a library - budget, user, personnel, collection and building-are discussed in the view of national and international standards. It was observed that the OKAM library generally fits its purposes, but lacks of quality and that the museum management supports the library to fulfill its deficiencies and to bring reforms to it.
