Özet

We report 2 pediatric cases with visceral leishmaniasis who presented with marked decreased high-density lipoprotein and mild hypertriglyceridemia. Altered lipid profile of these patients became normal after amphotericin B treatment. We would like to point out in this report that lipoprotein changes could be a clue for diagnosis and follow-up of visceral leishmaniasis cases.
