Within the scope of this article, primarily, Computational Thinking, STEM approach which emphasizes computational thinking as one of the basic points and the STEAM (Science-Technology- Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) approach which rose from critics of STEM are addressed with an emphasis on different perspectives in different countries. At the end of the article, in light of the literature in our country and across the world, some suggestions are presented for future research upon STEAM and Computational Thinking.
