Dede Korkut stories are a kind of work that puts forward the belief systems of the previous terms, the specialties of the epical narration and the traces of philosophy of life and that forms the over the periods discourse. The forms of the values system of the past that has been reflected to the sociological life and from collective sub-conscientious to individual creations are also being observed in the stories, although traces of the past are definitive in the Islamic religion. The cultural change and transformation in this meaning has been realized as based on the continuity foundation; these stories have been transferred not as a product of only a certain term, but as a product of the terms and as a product of the joint memory of the centuries. Very many of the elements of the sociological, structure have been set up on rooted foundation of the past in Dede Korkut stories. Very many symbols that are being used within this context are commented and transferred as the indicators of the rooted meanings world that lies underneath. Therefore, location, time and objects are the cultural codes of the multiple dimensional meanings world in the Dede Korkut stories. The effort for commenting on the symbols by setting of from clothing - accessories, eating drinking acceptances that have multiple layered meanings among these cultural codes in Dede Korkut Stories will form the subject of the work. The functions of the symbols in relation to the clothing - accessories and eating drinking in sociological life will first be considered, and then their special meaning in the text will be put forward with the deduction and the induction method. The traces of understanding that are based on the creating while living, transferring while creating foundation will tried to be found within the stories. Within this context, the symbols will be-commented by making use of the methods and approaches of the ethnology / folklore, sociology and psychology sciences, in the axis of semiology. It will be determined that the clothing - accessories and eating - drinking symbols are meaningful structures that point to the geographical structure, belief-elements, cultural commenting, traditions and psycho-social facts and transfer specialties that are shaping in the direction of future with the qualification of the cultural structure that is based on the foundation of past and that exhibits continuity will be put forward over symbols. It will be put forward that state administering and social life under the indicator value of the clothing - accessories and the eating drinking also form discourses that transfer deep cultural codes that are based on belief.
