Devoting his poem to eulogy and self-praise, Nef'i, who has achieved to have a having self-specific style with a proud manner, high-level intelligence and imagination, is one of the few such poets of classical poetri. Self-praise and proud manner are the most important aspects of his poems, to which he has not made any concessions. This is also the same for his religious poems. Nef'i's "na't" (poems for Prophet) with "my word" "redif" (one who rides behind another on the same beast), which is one of the most beautiful examples of its type, different from other classical "na'ts", is a "kaside" (ode) that reflects entirely his personality traits with its style and content. In this "kaside", the poet qualifies his poem as "the inspiration of God" and addresses from the Prophet's mouth; he also knits his poem around explaining the divine truths. The article aims to analyze the "kaside" in terms of its basic metaphorical ground.
