Abstract

In this study, a Rotman lens design with 7 beam ports and 17 array ports capable of simultaneously or sequentially steering the array antenna beam in 7 different scanning angles within an 82-degree angle range has been developed. The lens has been integrated with the produced array antenna to form a lensantenna system. Through an anechoic chamber measurement, it has been observed that the lens-antenna system exhibits the expected scanning angle, antenna gain, sidelobe level, and 3 dB beamwidth.
