Özet

A case of primary liposarcoma of the mediastinum with a review of theliterature is presented. Liposarcomas may attain a large mass and exhibitvarious kinds of clinical symptoms according to their localisation.Histological typing is very important in determining the type and extent oftherapy. Surgical excision of the tumour is the therapy of choice in allcases. Radiotherapy may be of value for the palliation of unresectablecases. © 1989 Springer-Verlag.
