Abstract

Problem Statement: in our age, the Turkish language is spoken by more than 250 million people in the world, but up to now there has been no research made to determine the equal values of its vowels and allophones with respect to International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) system. That is why modem Turkish has not been properly used in further research and application of material analyses. Such a situation has caused obstacles in its use by other linguists in comparisons and material development with the other languages of the world.
