Özet

The infrared spectra (4000-300 cm(-1)) are reported for metal(II) chloro 4,4'-bipyridyl and 4-phenylpyridine complexes and metal(II)-isothiocyanate 4-phenylpyridine complexes of the following stoichiometries: [M(bipy)Cl(2)] {M = Mn, Fe, Co or Ni}, [M(4-phpy)(2)Cl(2)] {M = Fe, Co, Cd, Zn, Cu, Hg or Pd} and [M(4-phpy)(n)(NCS)(2)] {n = 2, M = Co, Ni, Zn or Cu; n = 4, M = Fe or Ni} and an assignment is proposed for all the infrared bands.
