Özet

The purpose of this research is to examine the formation and implementation of The Fundamental Movement Education programs for 5-6 years old children, and as a result, the effect of this program on the development of movement skills on 5-6 years old children. The effect of the basic movement program, the research has been carried out with 60 children from 5-6 year old group (60 test, 60 control) The measurements are made with the Test of Gross Motor Development - 2 (TGMD-2) At the end of the pre-test practices of 5-6 years old children, the Fundamental Movement Education Program has been implemented on the test group for 12 weeks; 2 days, 30 minutes in a week. The control group, on the other hand, has not been given movement education. It is seen that there is a meaningful difference in the fundamental movement skills which is locomotor skills and manipulative skills.
