The word of aging describes the changes in the person and continuation of development in the late period of the life. Aging is accompanimented by some cognitive and emotional changes. Biological and socio-cultural dynamics were important factors in shaping cognitive aging. Therefore, researchers have moved from an approach of the potential and limits of cognitive aging, instead of a simple decline process. In cognitive psychology context, big part of researches have planned (experimental designs, materials and methods) for support an approach of limits. So that, we are recognizing only one side of aging picture. However a model of succesful aging is to be balanced between gains and looses. This article will explain to different dimensions of cognitive aging.
