Abstract

Aim. Soccer players need to have good posture on the unilateral leg and stability of foot to achieve different soccer techniques for inducing physical performance. Therefore, knee braces and taping techniques are widely used to reduce injury and increase balance in sports. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of kinesiotaping (KT) by enhancing muscle activation and stimuli to mechanoreceptors of ankle joint on balance of soccer players during competition.
