In the last 13 years, Turkey's economic and political sphere has been transformed. The leader of this transformation was Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who was our Prime Minister before becoming the first directly elected President of our Republic. There is a very fascinating story behind his success from his childhood until today. There is no doubt that his wife, Emine Erdogan, has played a most crucial role in his political life and transformation of society. Although she was never more visible than her husband, her lifestyle and vision has been a role model for most Turkish women.
