Özet

AccessIT Project (Accelerate the Circulation of Culture through Exchange of Skills in Information Technology) which has been granted by European Union Education and Culture Programme has been conducted in order to provide a background for the activities to be performed in Turkey about digitisation and to organise and execute these activities. This study provides general information about AccessIT project and activities that has been carried out so far and some planned action for the future. In addition the systems of document management platform, the project's official web site, electronic open archive systems and training module are also introduced which have been started to develop.
