Özet

Learning a foreign language is carried out by means of learner's curricular and extracurricular activities in order to improve their four basic language skills. This learner-centered process is affected by learners' inherent traits as well as certain external factors. In this research communication skills in mother tongue that may affect oral communication skills of learners who learn French as a second foreign language were investigated. By means of a measurement tool, the data related to the psycho-didactic variable was collected. The collected data and participants' achievement scores for oral communication skills in French were analyzed by using structural equation modeling.
