In this study, some of the variables affecting the mathematics achievement of Third International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS) 2011 eighth-grade in Turkey sample were modeled and whether the variables showed differences among the regions according to the measurement invariance examination. The sample of this research consists of 6928 students in the age group of 14 selected from 239 schools in Turkey.
