Abstract

In this study we have examined ratio type estimators under median ranked set sampling and neoteric ranked set sampling schemes. We have suggested modified ratio estimators of the population mean using the first or third quartiles of the auxiliary variable in neoteric ranked set sampling. To compare the performance of ratio type estimators we have conducted a simulation study.
