Abstract

OBJECTIVE: Behcet's disease (BD) is an immunoinflammatory vasculitis with an unknown etiopathogenesis. Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) is a cytokine-stimulating angiogenesis. It has been suggested to play a role in inflammation and pathogenesis of vasculitic processes.
