Özet

Capoeta erhani, new species, is described from the Ceyhan drainage, eastern Anatolia. It is distinguished from the other members of the C trutta species-group (Capoeta species with numerous irregular black spots oil file dorsal half of the body and dorsal and caudal fins) by a shorter dorsal fit), a less ossified last simple dorsal-fin ray, fewer scales; in lateral line, fewer scales between anal-fin origin and lateral line.
