Özet

Not only atrial fibrillation is the most frequently seen arrhythmias, but also a crucial health problem due to the increased stroke and embolism risk. For patients with atrial fibrillation, the anticoagulation therapy is quite important to prevent stroke and thromboembolism. In recent years, in addition to the warfarin, new oral anticoagulants have started in our clinical practice. In this review, important works which have been done with the new anticoagulants and their reflections on our clinical practice have been tried to be summarized.
